Lilly announced the launch of its Insulin Value Program to assist patients with or without commercial insurance with filling their monthly insulin prescriptions for $35.

Most Lilly insulins are covered under the program including all Humalog® (insulin lispro injection 100 units/mL) formulations. Patients can access the co-pay savings card by calling the Lilly Diabetes Solution Center at (833) 808-1234. Representatives at the Solution Center will be available 8am to 8pm (EDT) Monday through Friday to help patients obtain a card via email or US mail.

According to the Company, active co-pay cards with an amount higher than $35 have been reset to a $35 co-pay so no further action is necessary. Medicare/Medicaid patients or those under similar federal or state programs are not eligible for this savings program due to federal guidelines.

For patients with commercial insurance, co-pay cards for Humulin® R U-500 (insulin human injection, 500 units/mL) and Baqsimi (glucagon) nasal powder are also available.
