A number of new treatments have been approved for the treatment of osteoporosis.
BOSTON — Over the past 20 years, a variety of new drugs with different mechanisms of action have been approved for the treatment of osteoporosis. However, around the world, treatment of this disease remains low, noted Michael R. McClung, MD, of the Oregon Osteoporosis Center.
