Program Description

The Second Annual Advanced Therapeutic Interventions to Optimize Diabetes Care symposium will highlight the latest concepts in the treatment of diabetes. The symposium will offer specialists and primary care providers an interactive venue where leading experts will discuss advanced diabetes care in a real-world setting. The course will be taught by nationally and internationally known experts who are actively involved in clinical trials and studies related to the management of diabetes. Physicians will be provided with the necessary context to integrate the relevant information into their practices to improve the quality of life for their affected patients.

Intended Audience

This conference is designed for professionals in the field of endocrinology, diabetes, bariatric/metabolic surgery, cardiology, epidemiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, family medicine, pharmacology, nutrition, basic science, public health, as well as allied health professionals, policy makers and scientists from pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Recognize and implement the latest therapeutic options for diabetes management
  • Understand how to integrate the new diabetes management options into the care of patients with diabetes in a real-world setting including digital monitoring, oral agents that minimize adverse side effects, combination injectable agents, and initiating and advancing newer insulin agents
